MCIS Workshops

The Minnesota Career Information System (MCIS) offers free training workshops throughout the state. MCIS conducts full trainings in the fall of each year. Follow-up and refresher webinars are hosted throughout the year. We are available to do personalized trainings for individual schools/sites. Trainings can include topics such as specific MCIS components, help with implementation and curriculum or a typical “full” MCIS training. Please contact us if you would like more information or to set up a time.

Online trainings are designed for staff working with students on MCIS. These sessions are virtual and are offered at no cost to you. Full introduction to MCIS sessions will last between 1 hour and 1-1/2 hours, they will cover both the student and staff side. Component specific sessions will be approximately 30 minutes in length focusing on one topic per session. These sessions will be hosted in Webex Meetings and require registration (see link above).

We are pleased to be able to offer free in-person trainings this year. These sessions are approximately three hours in length and will cover the student and administrative sides. Space is limited so please register to hold your place (see link above). Thank you to the sites who offered to host this year!
